Melo is a dance virtual reality app for the visually impaired, specifically targeting those with low vision, in order to boost confidence, spatial awareness and get a good, enjoyable workout in, too. This would ideally be used with a smartphone and a compatible headset, or an app for a smart TV. Its name is derived from both the word ‘melody’ and the word ‘mellow’ as we aimed to create a fun, melodious experience that also eased everyday anxieties.
