This project stood out to me because I was also teaching myself about photography when it happened so it was an opportunity to immerse myself in the subject. I am a big fan of how it was shot on location and of Jimmy's philosophy. Still amazed how he survived an avalanche and then went on to win several awards for his film, "Free Solo."
