CORE envisions a water-shielding network that integrates with the current water system
in space. Tapping on unused, waste and recycled water within the capsule, to generate localized and targeted protection against galactic rays, solar and cosmic radiation. Featuring a modular interior, the goal is to maximize each astronauts’ sense of a personal space within their shared interior while protecting them from without. This project was designed by me and my colleagues Eren Yünür, Serpil Erdönmez, Jervenneo Teo and Federico Rho.
