Cullman County Museum Designs 2019
As an graphic design intern at the Cullman County Museum, it is part of my job to create designs for events, ads, and marketing. The following projects were completed at the request of the museum director.
This rack card was made in December to be used in 2019 and forward. It replaced an older brochure design that was used for quite some time. It was requested that the new design market the museum's services and new hours, as well as admission prices. Due to Alabama being in it's final year of the bicentennial celebration, the brochure makes use of red and white, as well as the bicentennial logo.
This poster was made to market a new, temporary exhibit at the museum.
This new sign was designed to replace the old, outdated sign the museum had for several years. The colors, much like the rack card, were chosen to reflect the color of Alabama in honor of the bicentennial. The yellowish tint in the lettering was chosen as the director wanted it to also pay homage to the yellow color of the museum building.
This ad was created in order to advertise for the yearly walking tours for Cullman County, which occur at the museum. As this is a statewide event, the state organizers had designed their ads with green and floral patterns, and so our design was based off of these ideas in order to show that they were connected.
