TRIPOD LADDER PRODUCT
The Client
Cuprum is a company based in Mexico that specializes in extruded aluminum. Their best selled products are ladders and they have a wide range variety on the different types of ladders that currently exist on the market.
The Problem
Cuprum needed a new product that could fit the basic necessities of the user but at the same time their own. The product needed to be even cheaper to produce than the current ladders
The Solution
In a simple excersice of "take away" we decided to leave the tray as the whole base for the ladder, doing this we could make the ladder as thin as possible making it easy for the user to fit it into tight places. We also took inspiration from garden tripod ladders and opted to make a tripod step stool fulfilling the needs of the user and the company at the same time.
