I created the cover and spread for a fictional city guide magazine called “Wanderer” as a student brief. The magazine is a counter-culture publication with nonconformist views and for this issue they were focusing on uncommon travel destinations. I got to design the spread for their North Korea article. For the spread design, I tried to evoke an eerie yet hopeful feeling through the imagery to reflect the current state of the people living there and their wishes for a better future.
