KNOMAD (different cultures and peoples interaction)

Describing the logo
here, there are four abstract forms which are replicated to be human beings and people from different countries of different continents. the green and red are from developed countries and the yellow and blue are from developing countries. so mainly basic use of srtip arrows and circles.
Hidden: two “L” shaped arrows showing movement and migration giving the form a continous moving feel.
its meanings and colour selection.

the use of colours in this logo is that all the colours are primary colours i.e.the colour from which all other colours develops. green itself is considered one of the primary colour according to psychology because its around all over the space and nature.
different people migrating from different countries.carrying different cultures, characters, learnings, methods, languagues etc. here basically in the logo, when all the different walks of life people come together and unite and connect with each other it results in new outcomes. so getting united is forming newer outcomes, identities, culture, languages. a new colour is produced.
similarly when these people are compared to four different developing and develpoed countries than the information on migration will be a new reseach, new analysis on migration. so basically here, the base is the one which have lot of informations and this base from all the four countries is forming the hub”KNOMAD”. the square formed by the connection of all four is the collectiove information on sharing and receiving. people are connecting through migration.so the square formed in centre is KNOMAD. and the people are informations to develop this hub and manage, research and make new policies.
the two ‘L” shaped arrow strips are process in migration and traveling,. its shown in a very happy, jolly and colourful manner. it shows how everything changes and varies in a better way in migration due to the help and support of KNOMAD economically and socially.and the help through their policies.

Describing the logo
in this logo, the KNOMAD’s acronym was taken as the basic focus of inspiration and through which this logo was developed. after researching KNOMAD’s role and its functions. KNOMAD supports the migrants, it develops policies for their better living in new places and countries.it socially and economically supports them.Remittance are provided and people’s movements are researched and analysed for their better wellbeing. i wanted one thing that could sum up its entire process and nothing was as good as its acronym. KNOMAD meaning Know NOMAD, Knowledge NOMAD. knowledge about nomadic travels and migratory movements. nomads were wild, basic travellers who moved from place to place and never permanently settled dowm in one place.
so basically the entire logo is done through arrow strips in a folding process. showing everything is moving, nothing is constant. more movement resulting to more development. more development of the hub “KNOMAD” and more development of the countries outlook.so wild and nomadic look to the logo was decided. played with opacity to give depth.

its meanings and colour selection.
here the black arrow strips are forming one closed quadrilaterial permanent figure, that represents to the knowledge hub “KNOMAD”which keeps the record of migrants and the yellow folding arrow strips are the informations and knowledge about migrant movements which travels from inside to outside of the black closed quadrilaterial.
similarly, it is represented that the black closed quadrilaterial is the country which is closed and fixed. the yellow arrow strips are the migrants. so the migrants are helped through remittances which are offered by KNOMAD policies and with that its developing the country , because now the migrants are responsible citizens. so with more movement and migration more development.
so generally without the yellow arrow strips the black strips cant make progress even if they keep moving. so with the help of interaction and movement it will enhance its quality and develop with the help of the yellow arrow strips.
basically a wild combination was required which could go perfect with the meaning and hence these two colours were taken.
yellow arrow strips : colour of knowledge, bright future.
black arrow strips forming one closed quadrilateral : fixed shape, stable colour, unchangeable, established.

Describe the logo

In a basic manner the logo has four abstract people moving in a continous square manner and there are four circles behind the people as background. the circles are powerful symbol of development as it keeps moving and it looks global and earthy. the rectangular arrows gives movement to the form.
Hidden form: Heart. once the heart is seen after that you will alway view the logo as two connected hearts in migration.
its meanings and colour selection.
there are two lands; the land of golden yellow (the developed countries) and the land of silver grey (the developing countries) the people of golden yellow are moving to silver grey and settling there and some are coming back to there own place and the similar process is happening with the silver grey people. so it is showing migration in different aspects. its showing migration for work, migration for better and simplier living also low cost living when a developed country’s people come and settle in developing countries. migration for climatic change. basically showing migration in economical and social aspects.
secondly, the world bank never distinguish between citizen A and citizen B. so here similarly golden yellow land and people are citizen A and silver grey land and people are citizen B, which indirectly forms two connected hearts. one the golden heart and other the silver heart.
the white square formed in the centre is the source of massive sharing and receiving information endlessly from the people of different developed and developing countries which is here in the logo is depicted through the white outlined people in the hearts which comes together to form the white closed space. here representing KNOMAD’s
role and function.
golden yellow (the developed countries) showing richness, prosperous.
silver grey (the developing countries) showing dull, feel of coins (poor)
