OMINIMO - A Two-Piece Conceptual Collection (2012)

A study that I did in 2012 on transformable pattern making for my brand OMINIMO with geometric shapes (Triangle and Cross). These two clothes can be used in several ways. With the use of openings, zippers, buttons and strings the same piece can take very different forms.

Dress One - A triangle shaped reversible dress that can be wear in multiple ways.
Dress Two - A cross shaped reversible dress that can be wear in multiple ways.
Here is a video that I made to illustrate in this project how the same dress can be used in very different ways by people with different bodies and ages.

In the scene, every time the model passes she is wearing the dress in a style that she likes.
When she returns, she is wearing the same dress, in the same way, but on the wrong side, which has a floral print.

Then the next model is wearing the same transformable dress, but in a different style.
It took us 5 hours of shooting to make this subtle 1 minute long fashion show :)
