A new born for Rhum BOLOGNE! DARK SAIL, an aged rum inspired by the epic of the buccaneers. For the packaging creation, LINEA explored the origin of the brand and more specifically the story of one of its former owners. The legend says he discovered a treasure that allowed him to purchase the Bologne Property in 1830... The label is dark with a retro style and shows an image taken from the privateers. The galleon in the centre of the label makes perfect sense. The solution-dyed label shows a deep black. Letterings and illustrations come to life with a screen ink giving substance and relief to the label. In a word... BOLOGNE is ready for the battle. We've warned you...

Encore une nouveauté pour les rhums BOLOGNE ! DARK SAIL, un rhum vieux inspiré par l’épopée des écumeurs des 7 mers… Pour cette création packaging, LINEA s’est intéressée aux origines de la marque et à l'histoire d'un de ses anciens propriétaires. D’après la légende, il aurait découvert un trésor qui lui aurait permis, en 1830, de faire l’acquisition du domaine de Bologne… Rétro et sombre, l’habillage met en scène un imaginaire emprunté aux corsaires. Le galion, trônant au centre de l’habillage, prend tout son sens. L’étiquette teintée dans la masse révèle un noir profond. Typographies et illustrations s’animent par une encre sérigraphique donnant ainsi du corps et du relief à l’étiquette. Bref… Branle-bas de combat chez BOLOGNE. On vous aura prévenu…
