Context
Band Industries is a music tech startup dedicated to building the next-generation musician’s toolkit. Roadie Tuner "the most popular music accessory in the history of crowdfunding" is their flagship patented product. It comes with a companion app, which can also be used as standalone to tune pitch perfect string-instruments.
My contributions
Based on Summative Research, Usability Tests and mostly Analytics (Google Analytics, Fabric and Amplitude), I was involved in optimizing the Roadie Tuner companion App at Band Industries.
These projects included:
- Increasing user engagement with new features.
- Increasing stickiness by implementing a dashboard and a badges and rewards gamified system.
- Reducing bounce rates by optimizing the Onboarding process.
- Increasing user adoption by increasing 5-star ratings on the App and Play Stores through targeting our power users at the right moment.
