Josef Müller Brockmann, Massimo Vignelli and Wolfgang Weingart.
This project is a tribute to them.
This poster is inspired by Josef Müller Brockmann's works. He generally used minimalist geometric design and had a systematic order in his works while retaining the drama of a piece. I tried to convey the a same kind of energy through the above poster.
This poster is inspired by Massimo Vignelli's famous brand poster for Knoll. I tried to get influenced by Vignelli's style of cleverly using practical, elegant and simple forms.
Wolfgang Weingart is credited as the instigator of new wave typography. He experimented with visually pushing the boundaries of type as far as possible but still retaining the meaning. I have tried to capture that essence through the above poster.
