Fenns Of Piccadilly
Fenns of Piccadilly - Rebranding
After seeing a simple van driving around soho with type for a livery along with far too much information, I snapped a picture and decided I was going to rebrand this seemingly uneventful company. Little did I know after doing some googling that they've been around since the 1898, with a rich history and family reputation.
About Fenns
Fenn’s of Piccadilly can be traced back as far as 1898, once located in Berwick Street in the bustling location that is Piccadilly in London, after taking over in 1979 the Silver family moved to a purpose built facility out in Acton which better met their needs as caterers and helped them grow the business further. After taking over the business their main priority was to keep the standards at a consistent level of which had been met by the Original owners. Now as a BRC AA grade accredited company, the importance of maintaining the highest of standards has always been paramount at Fenns.
Process
After finding their website I discovered that they had no real set identity, with at least three different icons on their site, none of which made an appearance on their van livery. I knew then that I wanted to give them a nice clean rebrand.

I started out by finding their main font, along with some that were similar just so I had some alternatives if the original wasn't sitting right, once Id narrowed it down I started playing around with the layout and hierarchy. I decided upon a more traditionally mark that is on the more retro side of things, this was inspired by the history of the company and I thought it was fitting that they have a mark that fits their history!
Thanks for viewing.
This was a passion project.
