becoming is an immersive projection that explores reincarnation as a transformative process. Utilizing five projectors on three walls, this piece submerges the audience into the limbo of creation.

Rehearsal for Judgement Day - January 31st, 2019
The initial inspiration of becoming came from a previous collaboration project with choreographer Asante Parker on her piece Judgement Day. For the first part of Judgement Day, I created abstract silhouettes of the dancers that integrated into the motion of the dance itself. I decided to further expand on this short project, taking inspiration from the dancers’ movement and reconstructing a different narrative from the first song of their dance.
