The Future of Panasonic

The challenge: design a concept for the future of Panasonic having in mind the following question: How will the entertainment industry look like in 2025?

Research:
In order to develop the project first it was necessary to understand for whom we were creating. Which meant to understand the brand and its values.

We discovered that Panasonic had as brand promise the following statement: A better life, a better world.

And we used those values in order to create our solution.

But before designing a solution we also tried to understand the market in which the brand is positioned.

Also, it was of the most importance to look for weak signals and opportunities coming from the entertainment industry, and understand them in order to take advantage of their possibilites, and use this knowledge to create a vision for the future the Panasonic.

What we saw was that we are living in a time where Tv is reinventing itself, people have already embraced the streaming culture and now are looking for accessible cultural solutions.

In addition, with the help of the fast development and easy access to technology people are asking for entertainment to make more use of it.

Solution:
That's why our solution was to incorporate AR projectors into public spaces in order to broadcast costly cultural events.

An example of the service would be the AR projection of a ballet recital broadcast at the Lincoln Center Square, bringing the performance from the inside to the outside.

Why this solution?
Since Panasonic's brand promise is: a better life, a better world, we thought:
Why not create this better world by providing people a free and unique experience to cultural leveraging on Panasonic's great technology?

Offering:
Augmented Reality service, which would digitalise and holographically reproduce the event.

We would offer the streaming of cultural events, such as concerts, operas, ballet recitals, football games, and so on.

In order to make it feasible partnerships with governments, public and private organizations would be created as well.
