The Train Station - Spatial Dynamics Spring Semester
Transcript of Accompanying Sound Piece:
Hey mom, it’s raining today. You know I hate the rain. I bet
it’s like eighty degrees and perfect at home. I really miss the sun here... a whole lot. I miss you too. I know I don’t say it that much. It’s just kind of hard you know... Cathy told me something which I think is really true and I don’t think you’ll ever realize it. She told me that you and Dad are waiting at the train station. And you’ll never get on and you’ll always be there waiting for me but you’ll never get on the train with me and you’ll never ride away. But no matter how far I go or where I go you’ll always be at the next train station. But you’ll never get on the train. And that’s hard. It’s hard to accept. Because there’s nothing I want more... then to feel like you love me as much as I love you. But it’s okay. Because you’ll always be at the train station.
