Leather cargo pants
Background
The challenge was to make stylish pants inspired by the current trends, The pants must consist minimum 30% of leather with any other fabric/textile or maximum 100% of leather.
outcome
For the above challenge the idea was inspired by Cargos and Plaid prints from fashion forecast for 2018. Fusion of plaids and leather was used for the cargos.

Cargo pants or cargo trousers, also sometimes called combat trousers (or combat pants) after their original military purpose, are loosely cut pants originally designed for tough, outdoor activities, and whose design is distinguished by one or more cargo pockets. Cargo pants have become popular in urban areas as well, since they are convenient for carrying items during day trips on foot.
plaids / tartan
When we hear “plaid,” we typically think about school uniforms but in 2018, Slim- cut tartan pants with a black turtleneck and coordinating trench look edgy while still being appropriate and stylish.

The test fit is made up of a thicker fabric with red fabric which higlights is used to represent leather for final product.
