     Once a booming recreational destination for families across the United States, Salton Sea Beach, located in Imperial County, California, rests now as a lonely place where vandalism has taken place; Its remains resemble carcasses left behind by predators. 

    The beauty and colorful advertising signs once admired by the world enticing visitors to live and develop tourism in this particular location, now remain as silent witnesses of what it once used to be, creating a juxtaposition between dreams and rude realities for the 422 people that still inhabit this forgotten location, that they call home.
