Zagreb-based architectural studio BIRO has developed the concept of XD store for the fashion brand Xenia Design.  All project elements are specially designed as an extension to unique, innovative and unconventional XD style. The dynamic image of steel clothes racks along with the monochromatic color palette of the space define the atmosphere of the XD store, providing the customer a unique and comfortable shopping experience.

Xenia Design is the most famous Croatian fashion brand which sells its clothes in more than 350 stores worldwide. With an innovative and unconventional construction combined with an exclusive and unique style that bases design around specific personalities, this brand takes classic tailoring to a new dimension.

The interior deals with specially designed presentation elements: expressive steel clothes racks and perforated sheet metal panels. The concept allows easy adaptation to different spaces and quick execution through prefabrication.  The unusual shape of hangers contributes to the visibility of the clothes and creates a dynamic visual space frame. Three different materials compose a monochromatic theme: rough structured grey walls, perforated sheet metal lining and wall mirrors. All together they compose a neutral background for recognizable and always innovative XD aesthetic.

The retail space is divided in two zones: the front presentation section and the back intimate section where the changing rooms are located - a space for more comfortable garment fitting and gossiping.
