Dubai Municipality The 3`Rs Workshop (UAE 2019)

In a one day workshop students from the Environmental Ambassadors and Teach-the-Teachers program were introduced in how to reuse, recycle and reduce waste from our waste management site. The participants learnt how to make rubbish bins out of used wood panels and how to use empty cans, glasses and baskets to plant seedlings in them. Especially the baskets are very valuable because they can be put directly in the ground with the seedlings and the organic matter that the basket is made from goes back into the ground and gives nutrition.
