Reflections Over Four Thousand Miles

The Wild West
This spring I was fortunate enough to take a journey across the country. The following body of work contains images, posters, writing, and a chapbook all created by myself as a way to take in the world around me and process what I was feeling about it all. This project is dedicated to my friends who hit the road with me. Without them, this adventure wouldn't have been as meaningful as it was.
The posters above were created to commemorate some of the national parks we were able to visit along the way. I wanted to focus on the textures of the landscape in a more minimal and graphic style. The colors of the posters are inspired by some of the colors I felt most drawn to at the parks and the images I chose were from moments I found special while I was at the park. The names of the park use Morganite Black and "National Park" uses Factoria Bold.
Some photos from our adventures.
Miscellaneous spreads from the chapbook I created to document the journey. Click the link below to read the full book.
