Combining the Salmon Days Parade in Issaquah, WA with Photos taken at St Margaret's Church in Bellevue & of the birds at Iver's on Alaskan Way in Seattle. Quite a fun combo!
Still Life at Roselawn  - a lacy table in my mum's entry in Newcastle, with strawberries from a little later in the  month & grapes from the fall at an EAFA meeting in north Bellevue, WA in September. It was entertaining to work with her muraled wall - retaining the gate

Appetizing?! This is a combination of three photos & a great deal of  masking & embellishing to bond them.
The Lady - from a pic I took at the Puyallup Fair Parade, a staff woman with a bright vest, eating a sandwich while walking towards the parade- odd. The kitten theme - well - we had one summer (from hell) of kittens galore, of which I took many pictures. The Lady's epidermis is embossed with a lovely garden moss. The vest with fine pebbles & hair with bursting of the texture of Chinese pasta from Safeway Deli. The background is a spectacular garden wall on Elliot, across from the Southeast side of the North building of the Art Institute.
Trukin' in Della Mae's Concert - Wintergrass! While assisting as volunteer staff at the wonderful "musical conference" I had fun taking a few pictures. This assignment was to involve a motor vehicle - my brother's "dead" pickup seemed like a good candidate (although it was a challenge to remove the trees in front of it.) I added a couple of sports cars pics that a dealer let me take in a shop in downtown Bellevue - one of them became a musical performer, the other "cloned" as faeries of several winged tones. Lots of filtering photos & layering. The "backdrop" is a snapshot of my neighbor's goats last Summer - cute would you say?!
Artist's Choice - Sur Le Table'   A fellow artist from Parklane Gallery in Kirkland, WA had a wonderful birthday party at her house overlooking the Space Needle. When I turned around from the view there was an intriguing table. My apology for the "flying pig" it just seems to jump forth - which was not intended. The bust was derived from a photo of me, bonded with a marble bust of a woman a'la smart object, masking  filter, distorted, displaced, etc. I will continue to improve this.
