Daily Type Project
This is a daily project for typography exercise. It consist of ten days of typography experiments using a cut out paper. The illustration and hand writing were all hand-made and then transformed into a digital collage. The content was taken from a famous K-pop Boyband BTS' song lyrics.
Growing up following pop cultures, I've always been a fan of teenage heartthrobs like like One Direction, Justin Bieber, Taylor Swift, etc. BTS or Bangtan Sonyeondan (방탄소년단) is a South Korean boy band formed by BigHit Entertainment in 2013. The group manages to become a worldwide pop icons through their creative process and constant engagement with their fanbase called ARMY, making them the winner of two consecutive year of Billboard Music Awards' Top Social Artist. Their latest album series called Love Yourself were promoting message to raise awareness about social issues like mental health.
This typography project is a visual approach of some of their iconic lyrics in the Love Yourself album.
