Replaceable-Top Seat

Not as frequently found in furniture, customization has an increasing demand as it gives us multi-purpose capabilities. This minimalistic seat, in specific, features a replaceable seat top which allows it to be easily transported and fit within the space of different expressive environments.
With a 16 gauge aluminum seat top and a 1/2 inch stainless steel frame, the seat aims for a minimalistic aesthetic while providing a sturdy and light structure.
Process:
Some of the methods used in creating the seat includes making wood jig, cutting rods, TIG welding rods, carving patterns, sculpting a handle with a drill press, trimming with a jump sheer, bending with a sheet bender, and testing chemical patinas with the use of a sand blaster.
