BOW TO THE PEOPLE

A typeface celebrating the feminist community;
allowing young women to make their mark and have their say in the world we live in, today.
The typeface can be used by anyone within the feminist community that is expressing their views on feminism. This typeface should help to unite the group and give them a stronger ground.
In order to portray the notion of ‘making a mark’, I decided it would be best to make a typeface that could be printed using stamps. The stamp effect would compliment the torn magazine effect whilst reflecting the handcrafted element of the protest posters which women used to make.
