The Seventh Table was created as a challenge for both my designer abilities and my craftsman skill.
As a designer, the challenge consists in choosing a basic graphic as a letter, a simple abstract drawing or, like in this case, a number. Then, you have to integrate it in the design of some kind of furniture, without considering it's viability.
Then, as craftsman, you have to make it to stand, this time focusing on viability and forgetting about aesthethics.

Sometimes it's needed to walk away from the role you've taken and swap again to a designer to rework the morphological feautures of the product until you are pleased with the results
This design was thought as one piece of a bigger collection, where every other product would be a table made with a number from 1 to 9, following the same work flow of being the designer and the maker of it.
The other 8 tables are still work in progress because of how time-consuming this kind of project is, but until the next one,
