Plan For Digi Op Shoot
Being a digital operative there are things that you need to plan ahead for and have a clear image in your mind of what is needed during the shoot.
For the shoot we would be using Capture One with Phase One cameras so we would be tethering straight into Capture meaning I would be able to check the photos and say about necessary adjustments in real time.
For this shoot we used a band and my second year wanted different looks so I set up new capture folders throughout the shoot when he would change the look of them up.
As a dig op it is key that I made sure that each photo was fully in focus before carrying on with the shoot, also making sure that the white balance was correct right at the beginning of the shoot by using a grey card test frame and colour picker tool.
After the shoot I made sure that the session was backed up on to his hard drive as well as my hard drive and Mac to make sure there’s multiple of it so if something happens to one there’s another to be able to work with which is where I came into some trouble.
