'Flow' ECOALF sneakers

In 2015 Ecoalf embarked on its most ambitious revolutionary project, whose main objective is to recover the trash that is destroying the sea, and transform it into top quality yarn to produce garments.
The vast complexity and the great challenge that this project faces lies in the low and inconsistent quality of the debris recovered by the fishermen as a consequence of its exposure to sunlight, salt and water. Since this segment is looking out into the future of market interest and expansion, this project comes to give it some extra help in terms of design and communication.

'Flow' sneakers
In terms of communication, the sole depicts an actual plastic bottle, so when the person who wear them pass by, lefts a plastic bottle footprint. With that way is like letting know  the next person who will see that footprint,  that the bottle doesn’t exist there anymore, because it is worn by the person who wears the shoes already.
The pattern is inspired by the jelly-fishes movement in the water.
The shoe is fabricated from totally recycled PET , with eco-ink prints and the sole is created my recycled tire.
