SNOWTROOPERS
"Snowtroopers are stormtroopers trained for operations in arctic conditions and equipped with specialized gear to protect them against cold. When deployed, snowtroopers wear breath heaters and protective hoods, insulated suits and belt capes, rugged boots, heating units and survival backpacks. During the Battle of Hoth, snowtroopers under General Veers’ command were deployed from AT-AT Walkers and quickly and ruthlessly took control of Echo Base."

This Snow trooper ensemble is representative of one of the costumes seen in Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back. The costume was created by RS Prop Masters in Manchester, England and utilises "Found Parts" to improve the accuracy of the costume to match it's on-screen counterpart. Overall, the costume is made up of a set of soft parts (duster, mukluks, pants, gloves and pouches) and hard armour parts cast in ABS plastic. This snowtrooper is currently 501st approved and in active service with the UK Garrison under the service number 'TK-64287'.
STORMTROOPERS
"Stormtroopers are elite shock troops fanatically loyal to the Empire and impossible to sway from the Imperial cause. They wear imposing white armor, which offers a wide range of survival equipment and temperature controls to allow the soldiers to survive in almost any environment. Stormtroopers wield blaster rifles and pistols with great skill, and attack in hordes to overwhelm their enemies. Along with standard stormtroopers, the Empire has organized several specialized units, including snowtroopers and scout troopers."
