Video Concept and 2D Animation
World Literacy Foundation in partnership with Media Saints started a Kickstarter for an online platform and app that would let kids in countries across the globe write and submit stories for each other, in turn creating a library that helped kids who needed help developing their reading and writing skills, especially in third-world countries.
This promotional video accompanied an explanation video outlining the idea. The art style and simplistic animations tried to capture the way a child tells a story, often elaborate and disjointed but nonetheless still with amazement and wonder. How children play with toys that themselves aren't all that animated, but in the hands of a child come to life in an amazing way.
