The goal for this project was to create a poster using my previously made modular typeface, all while incorporating the concept of the typefaces inspiration. In this case, a bottle opener was my design inspiration for my modular typeface, thus the incorporation of the soda bottle for my poster design. My goal was to have all the elements of my inspiration present in the poster and for it to be eye catching for the viewer. This event poster was created for Design Week and the AIGA Flagler Student Group, highlighting the modular typography from our previous project and stating the events hosted by AIGA. 

Figuring out the hierarchy and styling was not an easy task, but one I took on happily. 

The large soda can labeled "Creativity Juice" is meant to draw the viewer in and provoke an interest in the copy within the poster. The colors are meant to be light and playful and reflect the use of creativity and the natural flow.
