The project consisted of creating a poster, pre-poster (which would be displayed before the final poster
to draw attention to event and to intrigue spectators) and a 30-second animation to promote the event.

What is "Étre dans le coaltar?"
It is an old french expression that means to be not fully awake, half-unconscious or dazed.
Coaltar is a coal-derived tar, a material obtained from wood. Someone half-unconscious has
as much difficulty moving as a person who would be dipped in this sticky and viscous liquid.
It comes from the time when some users of this product in places not sufficiently ventilated became haggard by breathing the toxic fumes and had to rely only on other people to be extracts from the place become dangerous for them.

QU'EST-CE QUE "ÉTRE DANS LE COALTAR?"
Etre mal réveillé, demi-inconscient ou hébété.
Le coaltar est un goudron, dérivé de la houille, contrairement au bitume, dérivé pétrolier, ou à la poix, matière obtenue
à partir du bois. Ce nom vient de l'anglais coal (charbon) et tar (goudron). Quelqu'un à demi-inconscient a autant de difficulté à se mouvoir qu'une personne qui serait plongée dans ce liquide collant et visqueux.
Elle viendrait de l'époque où certains utilisateurs de ce produit dans des lieux insuffisamment ventilés devenaient hagards (et pas que Montparnasse ou Saint-Lazare) à force d'en respirer les émanations toxiques et ne devaient compter que sur d'autres personnes pour être extraits du lieu devenu dangereux pour eux.
