Virtual Closet for Teenager | Dresspicker

Dresspicker is a mobile prototype designed for teenagers. It's online favorite virtual closet for teenagers who want to save their times and get stylish dresses like their peers. Dresspicker looks easy, appealing, fresh. Most importantly, it puts the users always in control, by making very clear that app isn't messing with their unique style.
I worked on this project as a designer and user experience researcher.
The final prototype
A lo-fi prototype was developed. It lacks custom filters and animations. Also, we need to collaborate with fashion retailer, corporations and some other street brands who target for teens. We've been able to test the idea and assess the risk points, immediately.
Would you like to share my idea a little bit more?

I read interesting articles about teenagers fashion culture by Stephanie Newman Ph.D.
By dressing the same way, speaking the same way, and adopting their friends’ mannerisms, they are actually expressing something complicated about their own developing self-esteem.
However, I researched teenagers in the 12-18age range.
The main requirements were similarity but stylish in their own way.
Dresspicker needed to be easily understandable by teens without any specific knowledge regarding brands or reputation.

Outcomes and achievements
The UX study, basic branding, and a lo-fi prototype were released. Thanks to the general user,  we were able to validate the UX Flows every release cycle with lots of feedback.
