The Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University has been working on rural areas for many years by planning, architecture and design disciplines. Koyunu Yasat, which means 'live your village', is a platform where many disciplines come together and multi-faceted research and practice activities are carried out for the villages.
The 'Koyunu Yasat' project that Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University (MSFAU) implemented in Tongurlar village of Bilecik's Golpazari district is sponsored by many brands.
Aiming to redefine a village with art and architecture students and to create a new model for the village life, the 'Koyunu Yasat' project brings together the actors who will contribute to the development of the village as well as the methods of architectural protection.
Within the scope of 'Koyunu Yasat' project, many activities are organized for students. It is aimed that the artists will be included in the village life and perform their arts together with the students of architecture. The most intense process of this point of view is competitions. One foot of the project is in the village and the other is in the symposiums held in the year.
