How To Construct Happiness

  How To Construct Happiness?

Thanks for watching!
In the book under the working title "How to construct happiness", I gave a nod to a not well known or recognizable artist, Julian Antonisz, an icon of Polish animation. The starting point was a loosely arranged illustrations about the artist's way,
his inspirations and creativity. A certain skill that accompanied Antonisz and artists similar to him in times when there was nothing, and something had to be done. This ability to change the functions, design and purpose of objects to create those needed here and now (that was constantly creeping into the process of creating animation and as well as in everyday life), made his work and life a great laboratory, enclosed in a small jug. The story, embedded in the gray cover of the PRL (Polish People’s Republic), shows the way to happiness and fulfillment in self-creation. The artist's path that is full of surprises and potholes. Doubts and searches. Also full of joy that we can share our work without hiding it in a drawer. The book arranged spontaneously, changing on the way into a kind of guide. For a small and big creator deprived of faith. For the one who has a plan and the one who is looking for it. For those who have support of small daughters, or maybe just of a dachshund. „How to construct happiness” is a story telling that the happiness is not far away and somewhere next to us. We only have to see it by ourselves and not not fight for it. Be able to share it, give it to others. Like Antonisz his animations. I would still like to develop my book with further illustrations, as well as a with short text introducing the reader to a story.
