CORRECTYL THE CONFORMITY SYRUP
This project draws inspiration from North Korean Propaganda and its practices of extreme conformity on its people. It aims to bring awareness to such extreme practices and the dictatorship through satire and mockery of their rather unusual methods. This project is set in the time of former Supreme Leader Kim Jong Il’s rule where attempts at defection from the dictatorship were increasing a ‘rebellion’.
Correctyl is a fictional treatment for such insubordinate tendencies and to reduce re-education camp numbers. Concocted from within the walls of the re-education camps, Correctyl is derived from brainwashing ‘ingredients’.
