CMYK Calligraphy series.
CMYK are colours used in print: cyan, magenta, yellow and black. Their mixture and intersection gives all the colours in print. Here I experiment with CMYK colours in calligraphy.
Exploring overlap effects of transperent inks! Enjoying 3 kinds of shapes — form of the stroke, white counterform and intersection shape of a mixed colour.
These words in blue and magenta mean "search for meaning" in Russian.
Here's my new achievement and joy — balancing and controlling 3 levels of shapes simultaniously! They are — the shape of the stroke, the counterform which appears between brush strokes, and the third and new for me is the shape of intersections. The process is fun and I feel there's a lot to explore further!
Моя находка и радость — балансирование и управление тремя разными видами формы во время письма! К двум привычным параметрам — форма штриха и контрформа, возникающая между штрихами, добавился третий — форма пересечений! Все три вида форм взаимодействуют друг с другом и процесс письма очень увлекательный и непростой. Я уверена, что это большое поле для исследования и развития темы.
