Redesigning the Chola  

This project is a prototype development based on the research work done in the lesser known villages of upper Himachal Pradesh, India. Inspired by the traditional menswear costume of the Gaddi community that resides in the village of Bharmour, I have created a garment out of a handwoven woolen shawl with layers and tiers as in the traditional costume.
