Under the heading ‘Architecture as Social Integration’ the CAFx Summer School 2018 focused on architecture which facilitate connections between people in a small Danish town Skagen.
In ‘The Arrival’ I tried to communicate directly with the train station of Skagen that has been closed down for years. So I used my body to become part of the architecture and force the building back to its original purpose as a train station or a portal of integration for the bodies of the travelers.
The workshop was organised by the association Onsdagsskolen by Susanne Eeg. Tutored by director Lea Glob Sørensen, anthropologist Tine Sønderby, photographer Sidsel Becker, scenographer Maja Ziska and architect Susanne Eeg.
