an illustrative take on the 7 sins
The 7 inns project was part of an art competition with the theme of "the 7 sins". when I told a friend about it I mistyped the word sins, and the idea for the project was born. Washed up superheroes seemed to compliment the motel imagery extremely well. Imagery that once represented the American Dream, freedom, and virtue, with years of neglect and technological/social advancement turned into what you see in these images.
The series is currently touring through Europe with the rest of the high ranking competition participants' work.
