An estimated 1-5% of all hospital deaths occur due to human error and Medical Simulation gives clinicians the opportunity to learn, rehearse and perfect procedures on human patient simulators. Latex faces, wounds, fake blood and make up are often applied to the human patient simulators to add realism.
