St Helens and Knowsley Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust launched a hate crime reporting system in February 2019 which is said to be the first of it's kind in an NHS Trust. Allowing victims of hate crime to report direct to Merseyside Police.

The Trust produced a short video to accompany the launch of the new reporting system. This video tells the story of a member of staff who was a victim of hate crime.
