Font Choice: Avenir Next LT Pro

Project: Font Poster

The purpose of this project was to create a poster that www.fonts.com could use to sell a font to a designer. I chose Avenir Next LT Pro because I love how perfectly imperfect it is. The letters are not perfectly round or straight, but they appear so to the eyes. 

I wanted my poster to be eye-catching, but to be straightforward and easily understood, just like the font. 

I chose to incorporate the letters "o" and "t" to create a human, or if seen differently, a key. Both the human and the key are symbolic as Adrian Frutiger wanted to create a more human-like and less rigid typeface when he created Avenir Next.
