Key visual graphic for a private party in Barcelona
The main theme of the party was cyberpunk. We have chosen several popular cyberpunk movies and TV shows as references. Blade Runner, Ghost in the Shell, West World were sources of our inspirations here.
For creating the pattern, we developed a special font where each character is a piece of a labyrinth. It’s easy to use: just type any text, then choose the font name and apply a unique pattern in any layout.
Another font was created for the party logo. We wanted it to look like symbols from a futuristic interface. The font is not easy to understand but still readable. We used this feature to place some "Easter eggs" in the party environment.
We used combinations of these two fonts to create all renditions at the venue. All media, such as printed assets, videos, web pages, mapping, were involved.
In addition, various game mechanics were used at the party.
All guests were divided into „Androids“ and „Humans“, as in the West World TV show. Before coming to the party, guests didn’t know their roles. Guests had printed invitations, where a special paint was used, visible only when exposed to UV lamp, located at the venue. Guests found out if they were „Androids“ or „Humans“ and received a welcome drink according to their role.
