Romeo & Juliet Wine Label
Wine label design competition

The graphic symbols, from an ancient typographic memory, are places in embossed along the label and recall the textures of the wine leaves and the precious embroidery of damask fabrics from a Shakespearian memory of Verona.

Concept
The label presents itself as one single and compact entity without any interruption,
and it develops on the front part of the bottle. The intention is to compose the label with an aura and impression of abstraction and atmospheres.
The two main sections, colored with a deep but bright red, attract and repulse each other
alternately. They are an abstract representation but also the witnesses of the hearts of two lovers from Verona, that even though are tormented and unable to be together, they find a way to light up the dark black of the glass of the bottle, a color that is also the background of the label.
A narration made of ink, souls that try to reach each other and be one, one single unbreakable knot. The same knot that is formed by the three vines that create the wine of the Farina house.
The graphic symbols, form an anciet typographic memory, are places in embossed along the label and recall the textures of the wine leaves and the precious embroidery of damask fabrics from a Shakespearian memory of Verona.
