After seeing an image of a frog's shadow, I wanted to try and recreate the effect. After experimenting with various settings on a laser cutter and a variety of materials (copy paper, bristol board and velum) the results replicated the effect.
Two types of cuts were made for each leaf: One that cut the leaf out and a secondary cut that pierced the paper but could only been seen from one side.
