HANDCRAFTED  VANITY  ACCESSORIES

The Project was to design a collection of Make up Vanity Accessories. The collection includes a Trinket Tray which has been combined with a Mirror, an Aroma Diffuser which includes a ceramic essential oil Pot combined with a wooden stand and make up brush Stand.

The mirror is such that it can be hung on a wall or simply kept on a tabletop. It includes 3 hooks to hang small jewellery like Rings and earrings.

Core Materials used : MDF (4mm) & Anchor Yarn

Surface Technique used : Embroidery on MDF

INSPIRATION 

The products draw inspiration from the rich Rajput Architecture of Rajasthan. The state is one of the most vibrant states of India & has a mixture of Mughal & Hindu structural design.

The Aroma diffuser has been taken from the Step Wells or Baolis which are still used by villagers ,as a pond or to store water for bathing purpose.

The Mirror takes from the magnificent heritage doors/ gateways of Rajput palaces. 

The Brush stand is from the heavily ornamented columns from rajput palaces.
