Intelli Photo Manager

The Case/Idea
1.User has opened the Photo Management application on the desktop
2.User is immediately shown the All photos added year and month wise
3.User wants to search a photo that was taken in 2016 during summer holidays where the user was on a 4 week vacation.
4.The info the user has in his mind is that the user, his wife and his child were in the photograph, clicked by a 4th person at Mumbai at the Juhu beach at noon.
5.But the issue is that the user had clicked about 1000+ pics in that trip.

Now lets see how the interface helps the user in finding a photograph, matching his info on the photograph he is looking for using the Intellisearch.
Note: While the Intellisearch is being used by the user, the photographs in the centre panel is updated on the fly narrowing down the search results.

Tools used: Microsoft PowerPoint
Left panel
User can view All photos in the system, Recently added, from the albums he has saved, check on People he/software has saved, Location pulled from the Camera data, Storage and its number of photos in the drive, Camera management. In Camera management the user can see if the Camera has a WiFi feature where the user can just click and he photos will be pulled in to the view. He can edit it by clicking on the pencil icon. Additionally the panel is collapsible to the side to make room for more photos to be viewed. The Albums section is resizable to see more albums at one glance.

Centre panel
Photos are viewed. Information such as the photo name is shown, on double click on the name the photo can be renamed. Can be rotated, can be marked as Fav, can be rated.

Right panel
The Intellisearch works where the actual action happens for the user in finding the pictures narrowing down to a great extent. This panel can also be collapsed. This can add another extra column or two for the photos depending on the screen size. This can be helpful when the user is not using the Intellisearch

Top panel
User can click on settings to change any settings of the software, can dropdown on his name to check more options, can search with any keyword that is recognised by the Intellisearch. Can sort the pictures and can resize the thumbnails to get a better view of the photos. Minimum being 2 per column and max being 10 per column.

Left, Centre and Right panels are scrollable. The photo count now we see is 8744.
