Planeeko: A Planner for a Better Planet

Planeeko Logo Closeup.
The Planeeko comes in three styles. From left to right you will see it in: Birch, Seed and Cheery covers.

The wood veneer papers (birch, and cherry) are made locally in Spooner, Wisconsin. These wood papers were made using a chemical free process and use 10% of the tree. For every tree that this veneer uses, another tree
is planted.

The seed paper on the center Planner can actually be planted. The particular piece grows wild flowers.

The idea behind the Planner is to make it completely recyclable, and compostable (aside from the 96% PCW metal coil).

Paper inside of the planners will be 100% recycled PCW paper.
The Planeeko provides users with fun and thoughtful survey activities that are meant to inspire sustainable and environmentally friendly action.
The Planeeko has both a monthly and weekly calendar.
In the Planeeko are different challenges for you to consider—these challenges are small activities that you can complete that help aid environmental preservation.
During the research phase of this project, I put together an information graphic. The Planeeko is geared toward teens that may not have a lot of knowledge regarding the environment and environmental issues. This information graphic is meant to show the need for this product and show that extracurricular environmental options/needs are not being met in Wisconsin.
