Writers on Instagram
Data visualization for La Lettura - Corriere della Sera
The visualization shows the most instagrammed writers and their most instagrammed work, organized chronologically - the timeline on the left shows the publication year of each work. In each row, the author and the play are placed in correspondence with the number of posts containing the hashtags. For some of them, the Italian translation is also shown (only if the hashtag was present in more than 10000 posts). Some of the hashtags with the title of the play could refer to movies or other meanings (like the face of Alberto Angela when searching #ulisse, the Italians will understand 🤓). Therefore, a symbol indicates the other possible significance of the hashtag.
