THE CHALLENGE
Since our revolutionary packaging upgrade, P.S has been growing ahead of the category. Valentine’s Day sees a big spike in P.S sales annually and this year, the brand team wanted to release limited edition packaging with the words ‘I Love You’ in every one of South Africa’s 11 official languages.

THE SOLUTION
The design team looked at the P.S logo and replaced the Wi-Fi symbol with a heart for the limited edition wrapper. A wallpaper of traditional South African iconography was designed to represent the cultural melting pot that embodies South Africa. The graphic style, coupled with vernacular messaging, presented P.S as the ideal Valentine’s gift, with the QR code still linking consumers to the world of social media.

THE RESULT
P.S packed a punch on shelves during the month of love and generated a lot of buzz on social media platforms. This campaign has proven that P.S has firmly cemented itself in the hearts and minds of its fans, and is now able to enter a territory allowing flexibility and deviation from its original brand guideline.
